The link to the InstantAtlas Desktop installation file can now be found in your release announcement email for InstantAtlas Desktop version 6.12.0 . <strong>Please save this link for future use.<\/strong> If you did not receive the announcement email or have misplaced it, but had a valid maintenance contract at the time of the release (December 2021), please contact<a href=\"mailto:support@instantatlas.com\">\u00a0support@instantatlas.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Any other relevant resources from the Resource Library are either copied to your computer during the installation process or are available in our <a href=\"https:\/\/help.instantatlas.com\/instantatlas-desktop\/en\/welcome\/support-articles\/\">online help<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Version 6.12.0 of InstantAtlas Desktop comes with a licence file that is no longer tied to the GUID of the computer it is installed on. This means that replacement licence files are no longer required when InstantAtlas Desktop is being installed on a new or reformatted computer. An existing licence file will continue to work on the computer it was activated on even after InstantAtlas Desktop has been upgraded to version 6.12.0.<\/p>\n<ul><\/ul>\n<h2><span id=\"Key_Enhancements\">Key Bug Fixes<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><span id=\"Bug_Fixes_to_the_HTML_Edition_Templates\">Bug Fixes to the HTML Edition Templates<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>For indicators with customBreaks it is now possible to remove the colour palette selectors in the end users&#8217; legend editor dialog.<\/li>\n<li>The variable ${legendType} now shows the correct legend classification type even for indicators where the customClassifier property is used.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 29px; font-weight: bold;\">Versioning<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Please find a list below of the current version numbers of all InstantAtlas Desktop software components. If you did not receive the announcement email or have misplaced this, but you had a valid maintenance contract at the time of the release (December 2021), please contact<a href=\"mailto:support@instantatlas.com\"> support@instantatlas.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Double-click the file to run the installer. Choose a language for the installation. The standard installation is recommended for most users. The advanced installation essentially allows you to install additional language features (French, German and Spanish).<\/li>\n<li>Open MS Excel. You may get an error message stating that the InstantAtlas Data Manager add-in cannot be found.\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: lower-alpha;\">\n<li>Navigate to the Excel options (click on <strong>File<\/strong> in the ribbon and then on <strong>Options<\/strong> at the bottom of the left-hand pane).<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Add-ins<\/strong> on the left and then click the <strong>Go&#8230;<\/strong>\u00a0button at the bottom of the dialog<\/li>\n<li>Click on the the old InstantAtlas Data Manager item. If you get a message with the option to remove this item, please do so. If not, please ensure it is deactivated (the checkbox is not ticked).<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Browse&#8230;<\/strong> and navigate to your InstantAtlas installation folder, by default C:\\Program Files\\EsriUK\\InstantAtlas. Of the files that contain the data\/design, some can be safely copied over from an older report while others cannot.
