Once you have edited the above settings and ensured that you have activated one of the Publisher worksheets by renaming it to \u2018Publisher\u2019, click the \u2018IA Export\u2019 button from the InstantAtlas Data Manager add-in.<\/p>\n
Choose the file type and any output folder and click \u2018Save\u2019. Data files will be created in this folder.<\/p>\n
Multiple instances of the Batch Publisher will open and close automatically as publishing progresses. ZIP Archives (.zip) containing published reports will be saved in the folder specified for the \u2018Folder for Zip File\u2019 setting. The dynamic reports will be unpacked to the folder specified for the \u2018Destination Folder\u2019 setting. Depending on the number of reports you are publishing and the number of geographic features in each report this process may take minutes or hours.<\/p>\n
In this example five ZIP archives would be created in a folder called \u2018reports\u2019 on the computer\u2019s C: drive. These would be unpacked to the same folder, automatically creating five subfolders with the names corresponding to your split values (the parts of Edinburgh in this example). Each subfolder would contain a dynamic report displaying post code sectors for a part of Edinburgh.<\/p>\n
Please note: If you have published a set of reports using one of the 6.10.0 (or later) templates, the data within each individual report will initially be dummy data generated by the batch publisher.
