Data Updates
Claimant Count
The August 2018 data has been added to the system. The data was released on 11 September and was available on the live sites by the end of the day. All live reports were updated by end of 12 August.
Crime
The July 2018 update was released on 6 September and made available on 7 September. All live reports were updated by 10 September. Note that several forces failed to submit data for July. The national rates may therefore alter next month or when the missing data is made available.
House Pricing
Data for the year ending March 2018 were published by ONS on 24 September and made available on 26 September.
Household Projections
The first part of the 2016-based household projections was published by ONS on 20 September and made available on 26 September. This update includes the estimated and projected number of households for the period 2001-2041, the household population and the average household size, and replaces the equivalent data from the 2014-based projections. Breakdowns by household type will be published in December 2018.
Council Tax – Stock of Properties
Data from a 31 March 2018 snapshot of the Valuation Office Agency’s domestic property database were published on 20 September and made available on 26 September. This update includes counts of properties by council tax band down to district level – no data at smaller geographies was included in this publication, unlike in previous years.
October updates
Crime
The August 2018 update will be released in early October and will be added to the National Data Service shortly afterwards.
Business Counts
The update for 2018, based on a March extract from the Inter Departmental Business Register, will be released on 3 October. We will aim to add this data to the National Data Service within 2 working days of publication.
Claimant Count
The September 2018 data will be released on 16 October with the aim of addition to the National Data Service within 2 working days. Unless there are significant changes this is normally available the same day with the report updates following soon after.
Annual Population Survey
The update covering the year to June 2018 will be released on 16 October. We will aim to add this data to the National Data Service within 2 working days of publication.
Population Estimates
The mid-2017 population estimates for small areas will be released on 25 October. We will aim to add these to the National Data Service within 2 working days of publication.
