This area of the InstantAtlas Desktop help site provides instructions on installing the InstantAtlas Desktop Edition. It then guides you through the process of publishing a dynamic report using example data we have provided for postal sectors in Edinburgh, UK.

Once you have completed the report for Edinburgh postal sectors, users in North America may wish to repeat the exercise using example data we have provided for Louisiana and /or North America.

You will be presented with the InstantAtlas End-User Licence Agreement prior to activating the software. InstantAtlas is delivered with sample digital map data and you can find the terms of use in a PDF document located in both the ‘maps’ and ‘images’ folders created during installation of InstantAtlas. The default location for these is C:\Program Files\EsriUK\InstantAtlas.
